Research Study: Users of Homeopathy

Medical homeopaths use intake forms to gather important information about their patients. The HOHM research team is studying the characteristics of medical homeopathy patients, including their demographics and psychographics. They will be analyzing data from about 500 forms contributed by medical homeopaths, as well as gathering feedback from patients themselves. This will help create a more comprehensive and well-rounded study. ($5K Needed)

Practitioner Generated Research Network (PGRN) Development

While there are hundreds of highly skilled Homeopaths in North America, each making a difference in the lives of their patients, the reality is that the overwhelming majority of these practitioners are working alone, and the outcomes of their clinical work goes largely unrecognized. HOHM’s PGRN will empower all Homeopaths to participate in research via the accessibility of our programs. ($15K Needed)

PGRN Clinical Outcomes Study: Covid

HOHM Research and Homeopathy Help Now have collected data from nearly 4,500 Covid cases from their acute care/telehealth clinic. The project requires funding to complete a 36-month study analyzing the management of Covid cases and publishing the data in at least four peer-reviewed papers. The papers will cover observational case series, profiles and characteristics of clinic participants, establishment of the HHN clinical model, and secondary data analysis, which will allow for deeper analysis and additional publications. ($25K Needed)

PGRN Clinical Outcomes Study: Silicosis Study

This clinical study aims to test the effectiveness of the homeopathic medication Silica 12CH given alongside the conventional treatment of Silicosis, versus standard treatment alone for Silicosis. The study design is controlled, non-blinded clinical study without randomization. The participants will be recruited in Sao Thome das Letras and will be given standard monitoring tests and patient-reported outcome measurement tool. Clinical outcomes used in this study will be measured using standard descriptive and inferential statistical analysis. The final results will be published and made available to research participants. ($30K Needed)

HOHM Scholarship Fund

This project aims to provide funding to support the education of medically licensed Homeopaths. The funds will be distributed based on the number of applicants, need, and passion. The AIH/AHE co-branded course, Acute Care Homeopathy for Medical Professionals, is a self-paced course designed to introduce the basic principles and practice of Homeopathy for direct application in the medical setting. The curriculum is accessible and realistic for busy doctors and can be continued for broader learning. (Goal: $20K)

HOHM Foundation Provings Office

The HOHM Research Office Provings Department conducts commercial provings in accordance with HPCUS guidelines to provide high-quality evidence for therapeutic claims. Donations fund a 26-person re-proving of a nosode (likely Tuberculinum), including verification of replicability, conducting the proving, collation, editing, and publishing of a final report. ($25K Needed)

HHN Comfort Care Initiative

The Homeopathy Help Network (HHN) Comfort Care is a new initiative developed in partnership with The Lori Project, a program aimed at providing education and alternative healing services in palliative and end-of-life-care. HHN Comfort Care will expand the existing operational architecture of HHN, providing a telehealth service for palliative care. The service will be staffed by trained homeopaths, who will create a practitioner team and support system to ensure quality care and the wellbeing of those delivering the service. The initiative aims to meet the growing demand for empowered peaceful transitions for patients and their loved ones. ($55K Needed)

HOHM Development Director

HOHM has successfully managed numerous projects in support of homeopathy, but the increasing demand for high-quality project management is exceeding the capacity of its founders to personally subsidize the work using profits from AHE and volunteer labor. The next step in HOHM’s growth and development is to hire a high-level development director for a “sprint” to help HOHM’s leadership team develop a pitch deck, identify potential donors, and get on the road to raise the funds needed to bring homeopathy research and advocacy into the sights of decision-makers in all ranges of health policy and management. This is a 3–6-month endeavor. ($30k Needed)

Research Study: Artificial Intelligence in Homeopathy

The use of digital technologies and AI in healthcare is growing, and it's no different in complementary medicine like homeopathy. However, there is no current research to guide or inform these activities. This study seeks to determine if AI use in homeopathy is safe, effective, appropriate, worthy of investment, efficient, accessible, or is it a waste of time. ($83k Needed)
